Robert joined the Band for the second time in 2024, having previously filled in as a bassist as a holiday cover for a while, playing rhythm guitar and providing backing vocals after this for a time. Over the past four decades, he has been performing as a singer and bassist in various cover bands, rock bands and music projects across Germany.
